I don't know if this has already been brought up but why to the machine simply dump those who wake up from the matrix. The machine are at war with the humans who have awoken from the matrix, so why do they allow them to live after they wake up? When Neo wakes up from the matrix, a machine comes over to his pod and unplugs him from the machine before he his dumped. But why doesn't the machine just kill Neo and then dump him from the pod? Wouldn't that prevent the rebels from recruiting new people and thus making the humans less of a threat?
