Between Jennifer Lawrence and Cooper. Doesn't even look believable. Don't understand the casting at all, sorry. She looks her age, and so does he. Makes no sense.

I'd much rather see an actress cast because she has the ability to accurately portray a character's personality and depth than someone who "looks" more accurate--especially in a movie like SLP, where line delivery and overall performance depth are absolutely crucial.
If you were a hiring manager for a top company, are you going to hire the person that physically looks the best, or are you going to hire the person who has proven to you that he/she can perform above and beyond expectations? It's the exact same thing in this situation. David O. Russell and Weinstein aren't going to cast an actor that can't perform according to their high expectations. There's just no way.
If you walk into the movie expecting to watch "Katniss" and "Phil"** interact, then you're only ruining it for yourself.
Re: mrklawonn -- Yeah, except that in the trailer she seems immature. Besides, there are PLENTY of mature, talented, age-appropriate actresses who could have been cast.
