Not in my book. Everything in this movie was magnificant. The story, the acting, the cinematography, the direction, the editing...I can go on and on.........shall I?

While I prefer Gladiator, Ben Hur comes a close second. Charlton Heston was a great heroic actor in his day, the film derived from a classic novel, whereas Gladiator was developed from a screenplay and there was no CGI in those days.
This was the first proper film I ever saw, I was about ten when my dad sat down and watched it with me and it blew me away. The film would be my favourite no matter what age I first viewed it at, but the awe I felt from my first viewing lives on nostalgically. Incredible.
