Movies The Grand Budapest Hotel George Clooney cameo?

George Clooney cameo?

Posted by Girlso

Hey, I just saw the movie and I'm almost certain Anderson's collaborator George Clooney, had a very short appearance as a German gunman in a shootout scene.
Can someone confirm or infirm this? It would make sense as Clooney usually looks like he belongs to another era when he has a moustache.
Thanks

It is not him. I can send a screengrab if you'd like (one of the shooters does look vaguely like Clooney). The link in these comments as well as the IMDB trivia pages are self-substantiating (as this rumor is being validated by its own presence in other dubious forums).

no Clooney. Sorry.

Definitely .. in the scene described above. Bob Balaban's part was ALMOST as small, but at least he got a credit.

So excited someone else thought they saw Clooney. Yes, during the shootout at the hotel, Clooney ,who was not dressed in a uniform, quickly opened a hotel room door, peaked out , and quickly closed it. I'm going with it was a Clooney sighting.
